NEW EXPERIENCE
Halo Thailand.....
Welcome to Thailand...
Finally, I set my feet in a country that has never been colonized by a European country. Since in junior high school, I only see Thailand in drama and film and finally, I visit it after all this time. Before looking at my activities in Thailand. First of all, I want to thank the Almighty God for being able to be here and arrived at this place safely. I also give thanks to my parents who never cease & tired to support me till I entered my college in University.
I give thanks to ASEAN - SEAMEO - SEA Teacher 6th Batch 2018 because was given the opportunity to me to be able to see the outside world by their program.
I give thanks to my campus, Halu Oleo University and all the lecturer who has given me the opportunity to take part in the 6th 2018 SEA Teacher program.
I give thanks to Thepsatri Rajabhat University for accepting me as a Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange in Thailand.
Finally, I am really blessed and full of rejoicing and this experience is beyond my expectation and my imagination. I do believe my dream come true and nothing impossible when I walk with God.

Wowwww a long speech right? (Hehehe). Before I make your eyes tired to read my speech, let me introduce myself. My name is Diana Sry Wulan Lantombu. I came from Tana Toraja, South Sulawesi. I’m a Christian Protestant. I was born on June 23, 1997. I am 21 years old. I love singing, watching movies, listening to music, and travelling. I continue my study at Halu Oleo University, Southeast Sulawesi and my major is Early Childhood Education. My goals are to abroad and become a professional teacher/lecturer. Introductions finished and this time I will tell you about my new experience in Thailand.
I went to Thailand on July 31, from Kendari – Makassar – Jakarta - Bangkok. A long journey isn't it? I feel nervous and at the same time, I’m happy too. I met new friends from Jogjakarta.
First I set my foot in Thailand it feels very grateful, happy, giddy, etc. The Receiving University pick us at Don Mueang Airport at 13.00-15.00 pm. We met with a teacher from the University and she will guide us. The fact is she is so beautiful. Hehe
Haloooooo Thailand ...
Very excited to feel this in my life.
From Don Mueang Airport to Receiving University approximately 2 hours. In the journey, we try to know each other and talked about our trip from Indonesia. She took us to get lunch and honestly this is the first time I will eat Thai food.
After lunch, we continued our journey to the receiving University. A few moments later we arrived at Thepsatri Rajabhat University where we will learn for 30 days. Next day we started the activity by observing the student orientation at Thepsatri Rhajabat University. This for me is a new experience because our culture and Thailand's culture is very different. I received a lot of new experiences. We also can play with them. Thailand's people are so humble, friendly and funny but they are also very shy to start a conversation with us. Besides all that, the four of us felt happy to be introduced to something outside of Indonesia cultures.
The third day in Lopburi, Thailand is our time to introduce our selves as an exchange student from Indonesia. We are warmly welcomed by the University's President and our mentor from Demonstration School and Anuban Lopburi School. We are very proud to bring the name of our University internationally and facing a new challenge to communicate with people outside of our environments. We will do our best for our School and University. Thank you Thepsatri Rajabhat for guiding us.
Observation week is coming...
So guys, me and my friend visited Anuban Lopburi School. I met with my teacher and mentor in school. The school consists of Preschool and Primary School. I was put on Preschool Mini English Program. I met with Teacher Miauw, Teacher Cecca, and Teacher Assistant P Mou. I'm really happy and amazed at the student's enthusiasm to learn. From August 6 until August 10 I conducted my observation week from 8.30 until 16.00. I enojoyed my time in Anuban Lopburi School.
Anyway, i want to share this my very rare experience and this experience I'm never saw in my country.
So guys my experience is when Anuban School celebrates ASEAN Day. All the students gathered in the hall to perform dances from all various countries in Southeast Asia. When Anuban celebrate Mother's Day on 12th August, the children in class made a card and Phuang Malai as a gift for their mom. This is so epic for me because this shows us how children appreciate the parents by giving Phuang Malai. When the School celebrates Queen Sirikit Birthday. That was a new experience for me and so honorable to me. I'm speechless when i saw all of Teachers and students give a congratulation or something I don't know when the Queen is not there but they so respect. May be you guys already saw something like that. But to me, it's my first time so really really enjoy it and saw until the ceremony done. Wow, Thailand is amazing.
Okay guys, let me share my epic photo when i was in Thailand💓
